How to order a custom cake (without the back and forth)
Ordering a custom cake is easy when the baker has everything up front. Send these details in your first message and you’ll get a design and price much faster.
What to send
- Date and time. When do you need the cake?
- Pickup or delivery. If delivery, tell us your area.
- Number of people. This decides the size.
- Theme, colours, or a reference photo. A screenshot from Instagram is perfect.
- Name or message on the cake. Spell it exactly how you want it.
- Flavour. Or ask us to suggest one.
How early should you order?
For custom cakes, message at least 2 days before. Bigger designs, tiers and handmade toppers need more time. Brownies and cookies usually need about a day.
What happens next
We plan the design and flavour with you, and you get the price. Once you confirm on WhatsApp, the order is booked. Your cake is baked fresh for your date. Nothing is made in advance and kept on a shelf.
Can you copy a cake from a photo?
Send the photo. We’ll tell you what’s possible and suggest changes if needed. Often the best cakes come from mixing two ideas.
Message cakes
Some of our favourite orders are cakes with a message. A daughter writing a note for her mom on a book theme cake. A teenager planning an anniversary cake for her parents. If you have something to say, the cake can say it.
